THP provided structural design for a 34,000 SF expansion to an existing manufacturing facility that includes a one-story, high bay manufacturing building with an elevated mezzanine. Through collaboratively working within an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) team of designers and contractors, the team was able to save the client over $460,000 in capital savings on the steel structure. A $45,000 capital savings on steel roof joists compared to previous expansions and additions on site as a result of the design process that was utilized and collaboration with steel fabricators/suppliers for the joists.
