LEED Green Associate
I grew up in Nepal, a small country situated at the foothills of Mount Everest. I found the inspiration to pursue civil engineering as a lifelong career from my father, who is also a civil engineer. As the saying goes, “Like father, like son.” I completed my undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the Tribhuvan University in Nepal. I am fascinated with creating and designing new structures and buildings, which has led me to choose structural engineering as my specialization.
After gaining a couple of years of industry experience in Nepal, I came to the US to pursue a master’s degree in civil engineering at the University of Cincinnati (UC). I fell in love with my new home of Cincinnati, and when presented with the opportunity to join THP and continue my journey here, it was a clear choice for me. I joined THP’s Structural team in September of 2023. The firm’s portfolio, values, and work culture align perfectly with my own aspirations. Being able to stay in Cincinnati and work on local projects, including those for UC, played a significant role in my decision-making process.
Outside of work, I am a huge soccer fan and enjoy watching it. I look forward to the exciting challenges and growth ahead with the THP team.
