David Morehead Promoted to Principal

THP Limited (THP) has promoted David (Dave) Morehead, AIA, to Principal. The promotion recognizes his leadership, technical knowledge, and commitment to improving the built environment.

Dave joined THP in 2016 and serves on the firm’s Building Envelope team. He provides building envelope design, assessment, and repair services for facilities across the Midwest from THP’s Cincinnati office. He conducts condition assessments, performs forensic investigations, prepares detailed evaluation reports, and develops repair documents for existing buildings. Dave’s work helps owners understand building conditions and plan effective repair programs.

Clients value Dave’s practical approach to project management and construction administration. He works closely with project teams to balance repair needs, performance goals, and architectural considerations.

Dave’s recent projects include transforming Cincinnati’s historic Gwynne Building into Cincinnati’s Fidelity Hotel. He also contributed to the building envelope restoration of the University of Cincinnati’s Arts and Sciences Hall and the renovation of Cherry Hall at Western Kentucky University. On every project, Dave studies how a building was constructed, identifies the causes of deterioration, and develops practical repair solutions grounded in material science.
