From an early age, I was fascinated by understanding how and why things work. As a child, I enjoyed studying history, building with LEGOs (still do), and taking apart anything I could get my hands on to see how it functioned. These interests led me toward a career in construction and engineering.
During my time studying at the University of Cincinnati, I discovered a strong interest in historic architecture and preservation through several courses focused on architectural history and restoration. This passion inspired me to pursue cooperative education opportunities within the field.

I was given the opportunity to co-op with THP, where I was able to use my engineering background while gaining knowledge of historic preservation. During my co-op experience, I contributed to several notable projects for the Hamilton County Courthouse, 800 Broadway, and Rhinegeist Brewery. As a Cincinnati native, I took great pride in helping preserve and restore significant buildings throughout my community. I enjoy sharing the buildings I work on and the fascinating history behind them with friends and family. My experience at THP confirmed the career path I wanted to pursue as a member of the Building Envelope team.

Upon earning a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with a minor in Construction Management from UC, I joined THP. As part of the Building Envelope team, I design for historic restoration while developing my technical expertise and contributing to the improvement and preservation of our communities. I aim to become a member of THP’s rope access team and expand my capabilities in inspections and restoration work.

Outside of the office, I enjoy exploring everything Cincinnati has to offer, whether that be attending sporting events or visiting local breweries. I am an avid hiker and golfer and can appreciate spending time outdoors. In my free time, I also enjoy weightlifting, reading, the occasional gaming session, and traveling to experience architecture around the world.
