My passion for architecture began when my family built a new home and I was able to observe the process of making design choices and its construction. As a fifth grader at the time, I memorized all the model home names and can still point out most of them in the neighborhood to this day. Over time, this passion grew to include other buildings, especially historic ones. In school, my favorite subjects were always math- and science-related. When I discovered the architectural engineering program at the University of Cincinnati (UC), it seemed like the perfect fit to blend both my creative and engineering interests.

I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in architectural engineering from UC. During my time there, I held leadership roles in the Architectural Engineering Institute and the Structural Engineers Association of Ohio[PR1.1] student chapters. These organizations gave me many opportunities to learn more about the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Outside of the classroom, I spent all my co-op rotations in Indianapolis working on existing buildings, doing forensic work. These experiences taught me so much about buildings and structures, but I also discovered my interest in solving problems and preserving structures rather than designing new ones. As a Cincinnati native, I knew I wanted to stay in the area after graduation, which ultimately led me to join the Restoration and Building Envelope teams at THP.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors at local and national parks. My favorite ways to explore outside include hiking, camping, and rock climbing, but I’m not afraid to try anything new. In my free time, I also love pickleball and spending time with my friends and family.
