PE
I first joined THP as a structural engineer in January 2020 and after a short stint elsewhere, I am now what THP affectionately calls a “boomerang.” I came back to THP to bring my engineering background to the company’s business development efforts.
As long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to city skylines and elaborate entertainment structures. Combining that interest with a mathematical way of thinking led me to a career in structural engineering. As such, I began my career collaborating with architects, construction managers, owners, and team members to design sound, safe, and economical structures that meet client needs.
Pride in the quality of my work and working closely with project teams led me to find that building and maintaining strong client relationships brings me the most satisfaction. This has inspired me to move into a business development role, where I can help shape the built environment by building partnerships that move our communities forward.
I grew up in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, where I lived throughout my childhood before leaving for college. I earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with a focus on structural engineering from the University of Alabama. In December of 2019 I returned to Greater Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati, earning a master’s degree in structural engineering.
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, volunteering, sand volleyball, watching and attending sports with friends, spending time with family, and meeting new people.
