I returned to THP in 2026 as a licensed professional engineer. Combining structural engineering with technology and innovation, I help our teams deliver accurate designs with increased efficiency.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, I moved to Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati. I earned a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering. I enjoy working with existing structures, where creative solutions are often needed.
In college, my roommate’s computer science studies sparked my interest in coding. That curiosity grew into a career focused on practical technology applications for structural engineering. I have built tools that save teams time and effort while improving accuracy and reducing repetitive tasks. I am passionate about turning recurring project challenges into solutions others can use.
With experience in structural design and project management, I see where technology makes a difference. My focus is on understanding project team challenges and developing tools that fit their workflow. That goal is to give engineers more time for design decisions and problems needing their judgment.
In my free time, I enjoy photography and woodworking in my garage woodshop. I also like tinkering with small electronics and am currently building a “smart” chessboard, which has its own set of engineering challenges.
