I am a lifelong resident of Cincinnati and was fortunate to grow up in a family-owned construction business that specialized in projects along the Ohio River. This experience provided the foundation for understanding how projects are constructed and fueled an interest in their design. The desire to become an engineer led me to the University of Cincinnati where I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in civil engineering with a structural focus.

My career at THP started as a co-op student, which allowed me to experience each of the service areas the company specializes in. This led to a career at THP that spans more than 38 years so far, with a focus in structural restoration and building envelopes. I enjoy consulting on the unique challenges that come with existing structures and the opportunity to maintain a strong presence doing field assessments. I firmly believe in excellent communication, especially listening to the client and team members. I have developed long-term relationships with many clients, which have grown into trusted friendships that I value and appreciate.

Today, as a senior principal, I sit on THP’s board of directors to help with the future vision of the firm. I am the service lead for our building envelope group, where I oversee the day-to-day operations of the staff. My goal is to continue the THP family culture that allows our team to enjoy their work, grow their careers, and bring our high-level of services to our clients.

Time away from THP is spent with my family, traveling with my wife, and catching time with my grown children and their families. You will also find me slipping away for some boating and fishing.
