I’ve always been fascinated by the engineering marvels of the world. After my college graduation I was lucky enough to visit Rome and walk through the famous Colosseum. The structural engineering brilliance of the monument blew my mind after seeing it in person, and I was amazed at how it’s still surviving after thousands of years. We’re so used to living in a world of remarkable engineering feats that sometimes we forget how difficult it was to get there. From that day forward, I knew I had to pursue a career in structural engineering.

Before joining THP in 2019, I completed my bachelor’s degree at Thomas More University with a major in physics and a minor in mathematics. I went on to pursue a graduate degree in civil engineering with a focus in structures at the University of Cincinnati. After hearing about THP’s impressive reputation in the AEC industry, I knew I had to join the team and that I’d have no problem finding inspiration in the scale and complexity of the design projects THP acquires.

As a project engineer I’ve taken part in many different types of structural projects, including multi-story steel structures and pre-engineered metal building foundations. I have a strong passion for working on challenging projects that involve the structural design and analysis of steel, cold-formed metal, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures while applying my understanding of applicable building codes and standards. I enjoy taking on complex problems and working with our team to find the easiest solution to satisfy the needs of our clients. I’ve always appreciated the different challenges posed by each type of new construction or renovation project.
