Growing up in Northern Kentucky, I had no idea what I wanted to do after high school. That changed during college when I worked on a survey crew at my brother’s civil engineering firm. I realized that I wanted to be a part of the construction and engineering community, and so pursued a civil engineering degree at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) and then the University of Kentucky (UK). At UK, my passion for structural engineering was born and I earned both undergraduate and master’s degrees.

Out of college, I began working for THP on a variety of projects that included designs out of all materials, but mostly steel, concrete, and masonry. Since then, I have honed my engineering skills, benefiting from the team’s vast knowledge and experience. I am now a principal, leading our healthcare industry team. In that role, I develop and nurture client relationships through efficient, innovative solutions that extend through construction administration to project completion.

I have managed a wide range of THP projects over the years. As healthcare industry team leader, I am involved in several industry organizations to stay current on industry trends and in touch with healthcare professionals.

On the personal side, I reside in Northern Kentucky with my wife and three kids. One attends NKU, one is at UK, and one goes to Dixie Heights High School. I religiously follow my Cincinnati Reds, Bengals, and UK Wildcats, and I love to hike, fish, and shoot. And, of course, I am a lifetime member of the UK Alumni Association.
