PE, Parksmart Advisor, SPRAT Level 1

Growing up, I always enjoyed building structures, starting with LEGO bricks and Lincoln Logs. This admiration for buildings led to a fascination with the structures in different cities I visited. My curiosity about how they were built led me to discover structural engineering.

I was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but spent most of my childhood in Dayton, Ohio. I attended the University of Cincinnati (UC), graduating with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and competing on the UC Swimming and Diving Team. I was hired at THP after graduating in May. Starting in fall of 2019, I returned to UC part time to complete a master’s degree in structural engineering.

At THP, I primarily work in the Restoration Service group. I collaborate with contractors, owners, and team members to restore and maintain existing structures to satisfy client needs. I craft solutions to complex problems to maintain project budget and schedule. I take pride in the quality of my work and my ability to be an effective teammate, willing to work with project partners to reach our desired goal. I also work with the Building Envelope group at THP where I have been trained through the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians to rappel the sides of buildings to inspect façades for immediate repair needs and waterproofing issues.

I currently reside in Anderson Township with my wife, dog Aspen, and cat Kava. In my free time, I enjoy watching/playing sports with friends, going camping, hiking, traveling, and cheering on FC Cincinnati and UC.
