THP provided structural design of the addition of the Graduate Center at Jewish Hospital. The project included an 165-seat auditorium that can be used to watch surgical operations. The auditorium features video technology to connect to surgical procedure spaces inside and outside the hospital, improving the hospital’s role as a center for medical education. The project also included the renovation of the 200-seat dining facility.

The building has had many additions and modifications, causing challenges for the design team. THP was able to find creative solutions to address these challenges. Careful coordination and previous experience with the building allowed the team to produce thorough and complete design documents, helping to streamline the construction phase of the project.
