THP provided comprehensive structural engineering services, including design, documents, and construction administration, for the new Dearborn Cancer Center in Greendale, Indiana. Designed to extend cancer treatment to patients in southeastern Indiana, the building responded to community input that said residents would be more comfortable going to a smaller, closer facility. Features of the three-story, 66,507 SF building include 12 exam rooms, 24 infusion bays, LINAC treatment vault (linear accelerator) for external beam radiation treatments, CT scan, PET CT scan, and rooftop mechanical space.
